According to the UN Department of Social and Economic Affairs, the world population is ageing rapidly, with the population aged above 60 years old expected to grow from 10% last century to 21% in the first half of the 21^st century. Some of the factors causing this are advances in medication and the ageing of baby boomers. That said, retirement is clearly a hot topic!
